Honestly, I’m surprised. I knew that these devices do not use new hard drives. I received a device with a TOSHIBA MQ01ACF050 drive from 2016, which had signs of its previous installation on another device. But upon investigation and deep scanning, I did not find any traces or remnants of files or folders. The diagnostics showed that the disk is in very good condition. Changing the file system and deep multiple formatting did not worsen the physical condition of the disk. So at this time, I can say that I am satisfied. There is great hope that the disk will work long and properly. The only thing is that the hole on the box was not made near the indicator lamp, so there is no light indication of operation. But it’s a small detail and I don’t pay attention to it.

Seeing the very positive reviews, I decided to buy two. I have tested them and they work perfectly. They are not high-speed and the actual capacity is about 460 GB, not 500 GB. The difference is 80 GB less between the two hard drives I bought, which is a significant amount. But for the price it has and that it includes a case to store the hard drive, it’s not bad. I hope they last and that the information doesn’t get erased. If I have any problems later, I will let you know.
